Two detectives investigate a case of corpse-eating ghouls. When a rich person dies, the body gets mutilated and robbed. The detectives lie in ambush and catch the costume-wearing "ghouls" red-handed.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Trent Miller changes the faces of escaped murderer Martin Marly and his wife, making both repulsive. Marly disagrees with the job the doctor does to his wife and tries to kill him for it. In the ensuing fight Marly is attacked by dogs and Dr. Miller's face is distorted, too.
Hospital nurse Alice Lake is locked in room 13 with a severely wounded gangster. The man gets knifed and miss Lake is in danger when the syndicate comes looking for her, too. Detective Graw manages to save the day.

Police lieutenant O'Shea and private investigator Don Grady both look into the death of a plaster man in a TV studio. The PI is faster and solves the case.
