Forgot to mention: OUT OF THE SHADOWS #5 is the first issue.
Standard always numbered debut issues with #5... Don't ask, nobody knows why.

The reason why Standard began their numbering with issue 5 was to give the illusion that their horror comics had been around for a while and thus proven to sell. This was because many merchants were cautious to take a chance and carry any new titles with the already large number of horror comics in circulation at the time.
