Synopsis: |
Janet is engaged to Mark, a reform candidate for district attorney. She is selfish and impulsive, never considering the ramifications of her actions. Janet tricks Mark into meeting her on a gambling ship, which is raided: this will end Mark’s political career. He breaks up with her. To save Mark’s campaign, Janet steals an exposé book Mark was writing and has it distributed to voters, proving he’s no hypocrite. Mark wins the election and comes back to Janet. |
