The second story, "Sisters Without Scruples," is by Al Hartley. Hartley had a number of humor panels and strips in GA comics, but today he is better known as a creator of Christian-oriented comics and children's books, including a number for Archie Comics. He has done some super-hero work (including an early marvel Comics Thor story, where the acceptable art is torpedoed by a standard 1964 Marvel script), but most of his work for Marvel was romance or teen-beauty-queen stories, westerns, and a few military combat stories. The first story is L.B. Cole in a somewhat different mode than usual. |
